Sadu Motif Authenticity

Fidelity of the motif to traditional Sadu rules in units, colours, and symmetry.

The five levels

Each anchor describes what separates one level from the next — not a general description of quality. This is the text the evaluator itself reads.

  • Level 1 Below Standard

A motif violating Sadu rules in its units and symmetry.

Example Asymmetric units in foreign colours.

  • Level 2 Approaching

A surface imitation of Sadu with imprecise proportions.

Example A motif resembling Sadu in near colours.

  • Level 3 At Standard

A correct Sadu motif in units, symmetry, and colours.

Example A symmetric Sadu unit in its known colours.

  • Level 4 Above Standard

An authentic, cleanly executed motif honouring Sadu’s spirit.

Example A coherent Sadu composition telling its environment.

  • Level 5 Excellence

A masterful motif adding to Sadu without breaking its rules — a living dialogue with heritage.

Example A new Sadu composition honouring the original’s geometry and spirit.
