Expression Authenticity

Absence of clichés and canned expressions, presence of authentic language

The five levels

Each anchor describes what separates one level from the next — not a general description of quality. This is the text the evaluator itself reads.

  • Level 1 Below Standard

    Clichés in nearly every sentence

Example "Heart pounding"، "tears streaming"، "burning gaze"

  • Level 2 Approaching

    Scattered clichés with genuine attempts

Example Some fresh expressions alongside some worn old ones

  • Level 3 At Standard

Clear personal language with some ready-made expressions

Example Majority is personal language, only rarely shared

  • Level 4 Above Standard

Purely personal language, largely authentic choices

Example Comparisons and descriptions found only in this writer

  • Level 5 Exemplary

Distinctive writer's voice unmistakable for anyone else

Example Expressions that become references — readers quote from this specific writer
